Marco de Canaveses lies in the northeast of the District of Porto, nestled between the Douro and Tâmega rivers, in a landscape of granite, rolling hills and deep valleys. The territory stretches across seventeen parishes, from Alpendorada to Vila Boa do Bispo, with village after village preserving the memory of a rural interior that has resisted the passage of time.
