The Festas de Tabuado, in honour of Saint António, fill the parish of Marco de Canaveses for three days in June. Every morning there are mortar salvoes, a candlelit procession on Friday, evenings of dancing with fireworks displays and, on Sunday, a Eucharist, a concert by the Banda Musical de Vila Boa de Quires, a parade by the
Grupo de Bombos de S. Lourenço and the majestic procession, with a grand fireworks finale late in the evening.
