The Festival in honour of Saint Sebastian, in Miranda do Corvo, is organised by the Stewards of Saint Sebastian. It begins on 9 January 2026 with the novena to the Martyr Saint Sebastian, and the festivities run from 16 to 20 January, the saint's feast day. Every morning there is a dawn rocket display and street parades with groups of bagpipers and with the philharmonic bands Mirandense and de Ceira. There are solemn processions on Saturday and Sunday, the auction of the fogaças, a fireworks display and dances at Praça Feira da Sardinha. The festival closes on the 20th with the traditional sardine feast, the solemn mass and the raffle draw.
