biography
The Banda Musical de São Martinho de Mancelos is a philharmonic ensemble from Mancelos, in the municipality of Amarante, founded in 1889, and one of the oldest musical institutions in the region.
It runs a music school open to new musicians and performs at festivals and concerts in the municipality, such as the Festas do Junho de Amarante and the Festa de São Martinho de Mancelos.
