Banda Musical de Calvos is a traditional Portuguese philharmonic band founded in 1850, based in Calvos, in the municipality of Povoa de Lanhoso. It is the oldest band in the municipality, with a long history in the service of music and the popular festivities of the region. Under the direction of conductor Justino Costa, the ensemble brings together around 60 musicians and keeps alive the philharmonic tradition that marks the local festivities and pilgrimages.
