Banda dos Covões is a Portuguese philharmonic founded in 1868, with a long tradition linked to the central region of the country. Throughout its history, it has been present above all at religious festivals, keeping band music alive as an integral part of popular celebrations.
In 1985, the Mini Banda dos Covões was created, reflecting the collective's commitment to training new musicians and ensuring the continuity of the philharmonic project across generations.
